Description

The Multiple Scan 15AV had a Shadow Mask CRT screen and a viewable area of 13.75”.  As the “AV” in its name indicated, it had two built-in stereo speakers and an input and an output jack.  The screen was capable of displaying 32,000 colors at resolutions of up to 1024 x 768.

History

The Multiple Scan 15AV was considered an entry-level display geared for home users.  The Shadow Mask CRT was cheaper than other options, it was also lower resolution and capable of displaying fewer colors.
